REGENERATION FROM SOIL TO SEA

Healthy soil, sea and humanity are inextricably interconnected. We learn from our experience with healthy soils here in Holland, one of the top food producing countries in the world.

Examining regenerative methods being used on land that have potential for the sea we hear from experts in novel farming techniques and how regenerative systems can be applied using multi trophic aquaculture systems with seaweed and oyster beds that could in turn protect our coastline. Using Integrated Coastal Zone management we can make our coastline a multifunctional space for all.

We learn from the Dutch affinity for collaboration, and consider the option of a Green Deal, an effective tool used in The Netherlands and Europe. How does this all fit into the local North Sea policy? Or in the bigger picture of the world's coastal areas?
